  • USB 3.0 cannot work on WES 8

  • How to add the other language of input method on WE8S ?

是否有發現不論是在 WES7 或是 Win7 上，即使這個作業系統(OS)只有一個語系，也能隨時加入任何其他語系的 input 方式
但是，在WE8S 上卻變得不是這樣了?  即使選了其他國語系輸入方法，卻還是無法切換過去?(因為無法選擇任何輸入方法-如問號處)

  • Lock Screen Enable / Disable on Win8.1 FES(WE8.1 Pro) / WE8S / WE8.1 Industry

現在8世代的產品在登入User Account 選擇之前，應該會發現會有一個類似保護螢幕程式的Lock Screen(如下圖)

  • Dynamic Dependency Analyzer (DDA) to get Dependency List on Windows Embedded 8 Standard

前一篇有介紹WES7 的 "Analyze Static Dependencies" tool 可以讓大家針對自己未來要安裝的程式很快地找出需要加入哪些component
WE8S也有一樣的功能可以讓大家很快的分析安裝程式或是要執行的exe檔需要哪些.dll , .sys...檔案，在WE8S上叫做 "Dynamic Dependency Analyzer (DDA)"
 
1. 在你的平台上先安裝Windows Embedded 8.1 Pro X86 / X64，叫出工作管理員(Task Manager)，選擇Processes Tab

  • How To Enable Hibernate on Windows Embedded 8 Standard / 8.1 Industry

部分客戶因為要使用Emb Features : EWF/UWF + HORM 的功能，因此必須將Hibernate選項於power option 中秀出來
 
之前在WES7 / Win7 FES 上要將Hibernate打開，最主要就是透過cmd prompt下指令 "powercfg /hibernate on".
